Intelligent Voice Assistants for Production and Logistics

Digital assistants in production enable workers to determine the status of machines and equipment, track products and production aids, receive notifications about events, shorten response times through voice control, and receive individual support for work tasks. They can help reduce training time on machines and equipment and prevent quality problems.
In the COALA project, BIBA is developing a digital intelligent assistant that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to support workers in production. The digital assistant is designed to take over time-consuming and stressful tasks, while humans focus on understanding and solving problems in complex, knowledge-intensive situations. Our new video (in German) shows how this works in practice.
