From 17 to 20 October, Stefan Wiesner, Department Head in BIBA and Scientific Director of the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Bremen-Oldenburg had the honor of attending Feira Mercopar, the largest industry fair in Latin America as invited speaker. Stefan shared insights on supporting SMEs in their digital transformation, showcasing best practices from Germany and #MittelstandDigital. In addition, a captivating podcast on the international landscape of SME digitalizaition has been recorded for "Plano do Voo: O Podcast do SEBRAE RS".

An engaging workshop on the second day, featuring representatives from six different economies, provided the opportunity to discuss key topics essential for SME digitalization, awareness and implementation. Thanks to the fellow discussants Mayte Carracedo, Fernando IBARRA, Colin LeShou, Dirk Meissner, Jose Tamborenea and many other esteemed experts promoting digitalization and innovation for SMEs.
