More than 20 representatives of regional companies accepted our invitation to a lab tour focusing on "Digitalization in production and logistics" on 15 January 2024. Several demonstrators on current issues in practice were presented in the BIBA Shop Floor as part of the guided tour in cooperation with the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Bremen-Oldenburg. The topics ranged from applications of artificial intelligence, for example in voice assistance for production or intelligent optimization of planning and control of port handling, to topics of renewable energies for the manufacturing industry and safe human-robot collaboration.
