Curriculum vitae
Birte Pupkes studied Bionics (B. Sc.) at Bremen City University of Applied Sciences, due to her enthusiasm for natural sciences and engineering. She completed her master's degree in 2022 in Production Engineering - Mechanical and Process Engineering (M. Sc.) with a focus on industrial management at the University of Bremen. Here she was able to deepen her interdisciplinary knowledge and deal with current technological and organizational problems from industrial production. During her studies she worked as a student trainee for different companies on current projects to gain further experience until she moved to BIBA as a student assistant in 2020. After successfully completing her studies, she joined BIBA as a research assistant and has since been working on process analysis and optimization in the Robotics and Automation department. Her focus is on aviation, where she analyzes different processes and develops new concepts for process optimization, and inland shipping, where she designs new transition points and analyzes their possibilities.
