Research into automated driving: The AutoLog test field is located in the port of Emden.

In the new AutoLog R&D project, Volkswagen Group Logistics, BIBA at the University of Bremen, Deutsche Telekom and software specialist Unikie are conducting research into automated driving in ports. Preliminary studies signal a gain in efficiency, safety and climate protection.
