Many companies in the region are concerned about the need for greater energy efficiency. In the search for ways to operate more energy-efficiently and reduce costs, interest in intelligent microgrids and their application in production is also increasing. Visitors to our second workshop "Intelligent microgrids for an energy self-sufficient factory" were able to find out and discuss this yesterday. The example of energy self-sufficient pizza production illustrated the technological solutions and at the same time provided a tasty treat.

The workshop was organized by BIBA as part of the EIT Manufacturing project #SmartPower in cooperation with the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Bremen-Oldenburg.
