This week, the deans of German universities are discussing on education and research in the field of industrial engineering . The Federal Dean's Conference on Industrial Engineering and Management has been taking place for over 20 years and is hosted this year by the Bremen University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Christian Schuchardt. On June 17th, 2019, right at the start of the conference, the 30 participants visited BIBA and were inspired by the topic of digitalization and industry 4.0. The guests were particularly interested in the interfaces between technology, business, people and organisations at which industry 4.0 can be integrated into qualification and research.
